During this visit, I encountered many “examples.“ Each generation is richer than the last, with a legacy passed down through the ages. Examples need to live among brothers and sisters, and the collection of examples needs to grow richer. To this end, we need to: see examples, learn from examples, and become examples.
Before the trip, I had the intention to learn “methods“ to cope with my service, how to serve believers younger than me. Praise the Lord! What the Lord showed me was not just external methods. Throughout the journey, I saw how the older ones were examples for the younger believers, and the younger believers looked up to the older ones as their examples. I witnessed how the older believers loved the Lord and cared for the saints, providing for the needs of God‘s household in a timely manner. I saw how the younger saints were cared for and how they, in turn, used this as an example to care for those even younger than themselves.

Thank the Lord, this ministry trip to Taiwan has benefited me greatly. The once blurred vision of service has been renewed, especially in the stage of serving teenagers. With the help of the brothers in Taiwan, I saw that the church needs continuous multiplication and needs to keep raising up the next generation. The stage of teenage ministry cannot be ignored. This requires not only the church to take action but also the cooperation of parents.
This is to enable teenagers to see and learn from examples of loving and serving the Lord, training them from a young age to prioritize the Lord in meetings and in life. It‘s also about perfecting them to become the Lord‘s shepherds, able to care for those younger than themselves, grow in life, and eventually reign in life. This is not only about perfecting them in how to serve people in the church (being a person) but also in doing well in their studies (doing things). This way, they will not only be successful and outstanding individuals in society in the future but also become vessels in the Lord‘s hand to turn the age, and more importantly, the whole church needs to value the ministry of young people together, from children, teenagers, college students to young working adults, so that the church will be stronger from generation to generation, with a continuous next generation to take over the commission, become the Lord‘s glorious bride, and bring the Lord back. — C.T
