We ask that you kindly pass the attached letter on to the elders and responsible ones in your locality.
We would like to provide you with some recommendations and further fellowship on how to conduct the June 2020 Semiannual Video Training. Please read the following information carefully as there have been some changes to the information that was sent previously.
The schedule of the video training should include specific dates and times for watching the video training messages and should be determined by the leading ones in each locality.
Smaller localities are recommended to take the video training with nearby larger localities for the sake of blending, mutual encouragement, and to strengthen the times of study and testing.
Localities that hold their video trainings together can register online in one of two ways:
1. A locality can log in at www.lsmregistration.com, enter the registration information for their locality, and choose the “Join another Locality” option on Tab 2 of the video training registration portion of the website. With this option each locality will submit directly to LSM their registration, donations, and attendance for only the saints in their locality.
2. A smaller locality can send their registration information to the larger locality they are joining and have the larger locality handle the registration. With this option the larger locality will be responsible for submitting the registration, donations, and attendance for all registrants to LSM.
With the current limitations on social gatherings, there are 2 options available to the churches in conducting of their video training. The first option is strongly recommended.
Option 1 – Conduct your video training entirely via Zoom, GoToMeeting, or a similar conferencing software:
a. In this option, the video training meeting should be conducted as a Zoom session by language for each meeting, in which you gather the saints to sing and pray, conduct the testing, watch the message together, and prophesy.
b. This option is preferred because it is the closest thing to meeting together physically and will greatly uplift the standard of the video training.
c. LSM will provide the training coordinators with a training webcast account from which they can access the video training messages to stream during the Zoom sessions. With this account the training coordinators also will be able access the study questions and PDFs of the training outlines in all languages. PDF copies of the outlines and study questions can be emailed to the saints that are registered for the video training. These should not be distributed to saints who are not registered for the video training without permission from Living Stream Ministry.
d. The video training administrative login will be sent to the training coordinators on June 16th.
e. The saint administrating the Zoom sessions can stream the message from the training webcast site through his computer, using the share screen function, to the rest of the registered saints in the Zoom session.
f. All audio languages will be available via a drop down menu through the administrative webcast account, and if the different language groups need to meet together according to a different schedule, additional webcast accounts can be created by the training coordinator to meet this need. If there are special circumstances among the saints related to schedules and language, training webcast accounts can be created by the video training coordinator at the discretion of the leading ones.
g. The saints should study each message, preferably in study groups, but at the very least individually for at least 30 minutes per message.
h. There should be a testing on messages 1-10.
i. All registered saints, whether part-time or full-time, should participate in the tests.
j. The leading brothers should oversee the tests. It may be that certain coworkers will coordinate with the leading brothers for the carrying out of the tests. If this applies to your locality, the leading ones will be contacted by one of the coworker brothers.
k. All saints should be asked to provide their name when they connect to the Zoom session so that the training coordinators can easily take attendance for each meeting.
l. The training coordinators will need to exercise much care that the Zoom meeting ID is not used by saints who are not registered for the video training.
Option 2 – Have the saints watch the messages by themselves.
a. In this option, the saints would watch the training messages on the training webcast site according to the specific dates and times established by the leading ones in the locality, using individual login credentials provided to them by the training coordinator.
b. LSM will no longer send login credentials for every saint registered for the video training to the training coordinator. Instead, the video training coordinator will receive an administrative account from LSM that will allow them to create individual logins and send them to each saint that is registered. Training coordinators will be able to create logins for only the total number of saints registered. For example, if a locality registers 10 saints, the training coordinator will be able to create only 10 webcast accounts.
c. The video training administrative login will be sent to the training coordinators on June 16th.
d. The video training coordinator’s account will allow them to monitor the dates and times that the registered saints watch each meeting. This will provide the coordinators a way to take attendance.
e. The saints should study each message, preferably in study groups, but at the very least individually for at least 30 minutes per message.
f. Testing on messages 1-10 is required and would need to be carried out via Zoom, GoToMeeting, or a similar conferencing software. All registered saints would be required to attend the virtual testing and to take part in a test when asked to do so by the leading ones.
g. The leading brothers should oversee the test. It may be that certain coworkers will coordinate with the leading brothers for the carrying out of the tests. If this applies to your locality, the leading ones will be contacted by one of the coworker brothers.
h. The video training coordinators will need to inform the saints not to share their login credentials. Each saint will have a limited number of licenses with which to watch the messages. If they share their credentials, they will run out of licenses and be unable to watch the messages.
i. PDFs of the training outlines and study questions in all languages will be available on the training webcast site for the saints to view and print. These should not be distributed to saints who are not registered for the video training without permission from Living Stream Ministry.
There is no need to notify LSM of which option your locality will choose to hold your video training. This decision should be made through the fellowship of the leading ones in each locality.
Although this may be a good opportunity for saints who have never participated in a live or video training to do so, the standard of the training should not be diminished. This is not a conference, it is a training, and as such it has its regulations.
In Him,
Living Stream Ministry
