Update from one of the saints affected by the flooding
“Early morning water got into our house about knee high. The entire neighborhood of Meyerland (Houston) is flooded. We took refuge in the second story of our neighbors. It was 4 families, 5 kids, 2 elderly and 2 dogs. The sky cleared mid-day. A kind man helped us as we trekked to a brothers house 0.7 miles away. We are safe and dry but we lost everything.”
