On the 5th day of the 2016 Winter Training, the trainees listened to the sharing of the Lord’s up-to-date move in Germany and enjoyed singing the new hymn, The Rainbow. As well, Message Nine and Message Ten were shared in a very encouraging way.
Tens of thousands of seeking Europeans have contacted us with the desire to be brought more into the ministry of the age. We need to see the Lord expand Himself in Europe, and many of us may be those who pick up the burden to labor as one in a blended and corporate way.
In Message Nine—The Rainbow—the Consummation of the Experience of the Christian Life and the Church Life , we see that: 1) the rainbow is a sign of God’s faithfulness in keeping the covenant; 2) the rainbow is the consummation of the experience of the Christian life and of the church life; 3) we need to pray, “Oh God, let me see and let me be;” 4) the reality of this rainbow must be wrought into us so that we will bear God’s righteousness, holiness, and glory; 5) the rainbow is the expression of God’s rich and abundant attributes to be expressed in our aromatic human virtues; and 6) the New Jerusalem has the appearance of a rainbow as a “rainbow city.”
In Message Ten—Eating the Scroll—Eating and Digesting the Word of God , we see that: 1) God’s words are good for us to eat, and we need to eat them so that God dispenses His riches into our inner being to nourish us; 2) we need to advance from the milk of the word in 1 Peter 2:2 to the word of righteousness as the solid food in Hebrew 5:13-14; and 3) we need to keep our whole being, with all our inward parts, open to the Lord so that the spiritual food will have a thoroughfare within us; if we do this, we will have proper digestion and assimilation, we will absorb Christ as spiritual nourishment, and Christ will become our constituent for the expression of God. – via Mike Lee
