Report on Translators Training in Germany
On the weekends of September 15-17 and 23-25 translation trainings were conducted in Frankfurt and Berlin, respectively, for the Arabic and Farsi speaking translators who have been assisting in the gospel trips. About 43 attended the training in Frankfurt, including 21 Farsi speakers and 7 Arabic speakers. About 36 attended the training in Berlin, including 16 Farsi speakers and 8 Arabic speakers. A vision was presented concerning translation in the light of the Lord’s move in Europe and the Middle East for the building up of His Body on the earth. Two brothers from Russia shared principles of oral and written translation. Our hope is that translation will not be just a job to them but a vocation, a calling, so that the skills they have in the languages can be useful to the Lord and His Body. Please pray for the further perfecting of the translators and for their becoming functioning members in the Body and co-workers in the Lord’s work.
