2016 Inland Churches Summer School of Truth Report

Topic: The Two Spirits
“But there is a spirit in man”… – Job 32:8a. More than 150 young people and serving ones gave themselves for one week to know their spirit, exercise their spirit and to enjoy the Spirit. The end of the week concluded with 15 baptisms, encouraging testimonies and many hearts turning to the Lord.
One of the most memorable times for the young people was preaching the gospel. Although some were worried and nervous about talking to strangers, when they returned from preaching the gospel, they were filled with the joy of the Lord. They testified of how much they enjoyed preaching the gospel and wanted to do it again. One young brother who was scared of talking to people, shared that he now wanted to share the gospel with everyone. The young peoples’ gospel experience was a great supply and encouragement to everyone.
This year might be the last time that the Inland SSOT will be held in Engedi. The churches in the Inland Area have been having their annual SSOT in Engedi for the past 11 years. Throughout the years, many young ones have looked forward to this time because of the Christ they enjoyed and the shepherding they receive from the Lord and the serving ones. Some who attended the SSOT as young ones, now returned as serving ones. Many young people testified (some with tears) of how much they treasured their time in Engedi with the Lord and the saints. The Christ whom they enjoyed will be an eternal memorial.
It took the supply from the different members of the Body to make this SSOT enjoyable and memorable. We thank the Lord for the prayer and sweet coordination for this SSOT and also for some of the saints sacrificing their vacation days so that they can serve the young people. The saints poured out everything that they have and are because they see the preciousness of the young people and how much the Lord needs them to turn this age. Thank you Lord for pouring out Your blessing during this SSOT. Gain many young people for Your heart’s desire.
