The conference in Paris, France
The annual Chinese-speaking conference in Paris has been held every
year since 2009. The April conference in London is mainly for England
while the September conference in Paris takes care of all Europe.
This year, an unprecedented total of 220 registered to attend. From
Germany came 39 saints; a few came from the Netherlands, northern
Europe, and Romania; and 5 came from Spain. This was a first.
A big number of brothers and sisters from Taiwan joined the conference.
Many of them have attended the Full-Time Training. The actual
attendance was 200, and about 70 to 80 were saints from Taiwan.
The two groups of brothers and sisters from Paris who had attended the
Seed Training and the New Jersey Perfecting Training returned home and
formed larger brothers’ and sisters’ houses. The five brothers who came
last time went on to establish a new brothers’ house.
The main services for this conference were handled by these brothers and
sisters, who have been perfected to do the work well. The corporate living
brought joy to all. The Chinese-speaking work in Europe will continue to
advance.
This conference can be described with one word: “Wundebar!” (This is
the word that the Chinese-speaking saints loved to use when they came to
Germany and started to learn to prophesy in German.) Thank the Lord for
opening the way for me to participate in the fellowship of this conference.
I also thank the brothers and sisters who interceded privately for me. I
have not attended such a large-scale blending for a long time, because
most of the localities in Germany have single-digit numbers in their
meetings, and I was personally hesitant about paying the cost of travelling
to a distant place for blending. The flow of the stream in Dresden
gradually slowed down and lost its force. I came to my first conclusion:
Fellowship is the way out! When I made up my mind to attend such a
large blending conference, I could then move with forward with full force
in the one flow of the Body!
Thank the Lord, although I had crossed national boundaries to come
to the conference, I came with some problems that kept coming to my
mind during those three days, and it was during my time of fellowship
with the serving sister in Paris that the problems were solved. (These are
circumstances that the Lord has given me because He knows everything
about me. The reason He has not removed these circumstances is that
He knows how much my capacity can still be increased. When I can no
longer bear it, He will not withhold His care, because He loves me. I must
look away to Christ, in that His grace is sufficient for me. When I fall into
my natural person, the problem can never be solved.
Aside from the Lord’s word that I heard from the messages, what I found
more precious was the portion of Christ that was shared by each saint.
I really saw many brothers and sisters who love the Lord with a pure
heart. Every time I thought of these patterns, I was constantly encouraged
to move forward. In particular, the home that provided hospitality for
us seven sisters from Germany had shown me in real life what it meant
to live Christ, what it meant to be a virtuous woman. Truly, whether
in preaching the gospel or in shepherding others, the effectiveness of
our conduct is tremendous. The infusion of life is not only by speaking.
Herr, you know my aspiration; make me into such a vessel! To open
one’s home is not a light matter. Without life, after a while, people do
not like to come anymore. Only an open home full of Christ can bring
much blessing. We must learn as we work. I remember vaguely that many
years ago, hall 13 of the church in Taipei started with 5 or 6 homes with
saints who had not been trained full-time, and steadily reached the present
3,000 saints. We can also do it in Germany. The situation in Europe is so
desperate that we have to be watchful and ready! In the Lord’s recovery
in Germany, especially in the areas around Halle and Dresden (the largest
city near the main village of concern), who else could cooperate with
the Lord if we are not gained by Him! Herr, raise up this land, no matter
which way you use, and raise up those who love you, for You must gain
this strategic stronghold.
