Lord’s table meeting in KSU
Praise the Lord!!
The Church Life in Manhattan: We started the first Lord’s table meeting on Feb 6, 2011. One-hundred fifty saints were here to strengthen the new beginning. Now we have a prayer meetings in a home, college meetings at a students’ apartments and a brother’s house, and the Lord’s table meetings at the Student Union at KSU. Since we only have one family now, we are praying for more couples to migrateto Manhattan.
The saints in Kansas City and Wichita, KS are visiting Manhattan on Lord’s days to strengthen the meetings once a month. Brother Len Lawson in Kansas City is visiting Manhattan every Wednesday to fellowship with us and with some students. He usually stays overnight on Wednesdays and has breakfast or lunch with some of the students and saints.
One hour on I-70 East is Topeka, the state capital. Currently, there are two couples there who have meetings at least once a week in Topeka. Two new ones have been added. There is still a need for more saints to migrate here.
A major army installation, Ft. Riley, is located 25 minutes West of Manhattan. There is a brother there who is a soldier.
