The following is a glorious testimony written in France by the wife of Brother Chiang Hsien-chih:
以下是江显智弟兄的姊妹在法国写的荣耀见证：
Brothers and sisters, today I have a burden to share about the Lord’s work I have seen while serving in Europe these past few years, as well as the Lord’s leading in my personal life.
弟兄姊妹，今天我有一点负担，交通这几年在欧洲服事所看见主的工作，以及主在我个人身上的带领。
In June 2022, our family came to Paris, France, to coordinate in the service.
2022年6月，我们家到法国巴黎配搭服事。
In July 2023, the brothers signed a contract to purchase the first meeting hall, located near Orly Airport. It is a semi-detached building with a total of ten rooms, an independent family living unit, a storage room, a small conference room, and a large living room and kitchen. The yard can park six cars, and its location is very convenient, right across from the train station.
2023年7月，弟兄们签约购买了第一栋会所，靠近Orly机场，这是一栋两户相连的建筑，共有十个房间，一个独立的家居住单位，另有一个储藏室、一个小型会议室，一个大客厅和厨房。院子可以停放六部车，地点就在火车站对面，交通十分便利。
The total price of this meeting hall was 1.5 million euros. The contract was signed on July 8, and the full cash payment was due by November 8. The saints consecrated with one accord, and with the support of the churches in various localities, the purchase was completed. This immediately met the needs for the gospel action of distributing Bibles for the 2024 Olympics.
这栋会所的总价为150万欧元，七月8日签约购置，11月8日要完成付现，圣徒同心合意拼上，并藉各地众召会的扶持，完成购置。即时应付了2024年奥运发送圣经的福音行动需要。
In May 2024, as the Paris Olympic torch was relayed through various cities, the church also followed, station by station, in the torch relay cities, contacting people and preaching the gospel through the free Bible distribution campaign.
2024年5月，随着巴黎奥运的火炬在各城市的传递，召会也在火炬传递的城市，一站一站藉着免费圣经的发送行动接触人传扬福音。
From July to September 2025, when the Olympics were held in Paris, we simultaneously conducted five sessions of gospel action in five cities, each session lasting ten days. Saints from all over the world came to coordinate in distributing Bibles, contacting people, and preaching the gospel. After the campaigns, the work of shepherding and follow-up visits continued, with saints from various places coming to coordinate one after another. Currently, there are twenty full-timers coordinating in the ongoing shepherding work across various cities in France.
2025年7月到9月，奥运在巴黎举行，我们也在五个城市同时举行了五个梯次的福音行动，每一个梯次为期十天。来自世界各地的圣徒前来配搭，藉着发送圣经、接触人、传扬福音。行动结束之后，继续有牧养与回访的工作，各地的圣徒陆续前来配搭。目前有二十位全时间者，一同在法国各城市配搭继续牧养。
By January 2026, with the Lord’s blessing, three new churches have been established: Nanterre, Toulouse, and Lille. There are now a total of eight churches in France.
到了2026年一月，在主的祝福下，已经新成立了三处召会：Nanterre、Toulouse、Lille。目前法国共有八处召会。
In December 2025, Italy will host the Winter Olympics, and the church will also have a gospel campaign to coordinate with the Olympics. On May 17, a new church will be established in Prato, including Fucecchio, in the Florence area.
2025年12月，意大利有冬季奥运，同时召会也有配合奥运的传福音行动。5月17日即将新成立一处召会 Prato、包括Fucecchio. 在佛罗伦斯区。
Our family has been in France for three years and nine months, and we have seen the move of the Holy Spirit in Europe.
我们家在法国已经三年九个月，看见圣灵在欧洲的行动。
This year, we plan to establish two more churches in France. This requires more families who are willing to migrate or take up the burden to live there long-term, to coordinate in shepherding the saints and stand together for the Lord’s testimony in Europe.
今年在法国计划再成立两处召会，需要更多的家愿意移民，或接受负担长期居住在当地，配搭牧养圣徒，一同为着主在欧洲的见证。
Next, I would like to share some personal experiences the Lord has given me over these years. When we arrived in France in June 2022, we resumed in-person meetings. In August, a couple came to our small group meeting. The brother is French and the sister is Russian. I asked the sister if she knew a Russian sister named Лена (Lena). She replied, “She was my high school classmate; she preached the gospel to me and led me to the Lord.” I was utterly shocked. She was a university student who had lived in my home when I opened it up during my service in St. Petersburg. She later attended the full-time training, got married, and immigrated to Hamburg, Germany. I never imagined that the fruit of my service in 1996 would be seen in France 26 years later. As for this couple, the brother works for the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and has been stationed in Armenia, Cairo (Egypt), Beirut (Lebanon), and Iran. Wherever they go, the gospel is there, and a small group meeting is there.
接着我想交通一些主在这些年给我的个人经历。2022年6月我们到法国，恢复实体聚会。在八月就有一对夫妇来参加小排，弟兄是法国人姊妹是俄国人，我就问姊妹你是否认识一位俄国姊妹，名字是Lena，她回答我说她是我的高中同学，她传福音给我，带我信主。我当下非常震惊，那是我在圣彼得堡服事的时候，打开家住在我家的一位大学生，后来参加全时间训练，结婚后移民到德国汉堡。我没想到我在1996年的服事会26年后在法国看到果子。这对夫妇，弟兄在法国外交部工作，曾派驻在亚美尼亚、埃及开罗、黎巴嫩贝鲁特、伊朗，他们到那里，那里就有福音，就有小排。
On June 28, 2023, we were scheduled to fly back to Paris at 11 PM. That morning, I went to the hospital for my lung scan report. The doctor said, “Your condition is not good and you need surgery immediately. It’s best not to delay for more than three months.” Right then, Brother Chiang decided we would return for the surgery in three months. We would first go back to Paris, serve in the Chinese-speaking conference in September, fellowship clearly with the saints, and then come back for the operation. During those three months, my heart was filled with anxiety, but my husband said he was very peaceful. It was my life on the line, yet he felt peaceful. I found it strange, so I went before the Lord with many prayers. One day, I read Nehemiah 6:1, where Nehemiah led the Israelites to build the wall of Jerusalem, and there was no breach left in it. I prayed to the Lord, “O Lord! If this cell is malignant, please also build a wall around it, so that there would be no breach.” The Chinese-speaking conference ended on September 16, and the very next day we flew back to Taiwan and went straight to the hospital. The doctor said, “Let’s do a few more tests, and the surgery will be in ten days.” Brother Chiang said, “I can only stay with her for ten days.” The doctor agreed, “Okay, be admitted tomorrow, and have the surgery the day after.” The result of the surgery was stage one lung adenocarcinoma. Post-operation, I only needed follow-up monitoring, with no need for chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or electrotherapy. After staying with me for ten days, my husband went to the Philippines for the training for elders and co-workers. During my recovery, I asked the Lord why these things had happened to me. Later, I read the “Life-study of Leviticus,” which speaks of the offerings: “Never think that a Christian’s growth is about becoming more and more presentable; on the contrary, the more a Christian grows, the less presentable they become. This may be easily misunderstood, but it is the truth. Think about it, if you put anything in the fire to burn, can it become more presentable? No! The fire will make it unpresentable. In the end, it becomes a pile of ashes, not presentable at all. Therefore, the offering ultimately becomes a pile of ashes; this proves that it has become God’s food, completely God’s enjoyment. Thus, God’s way of enjoying us is to burn us with fire, for God Himself is a consuming fire. Many times, fiery trials come upon us. This is God allowing suffering, like fire, to burn us in order to gain us (1 Pet. 4:12-14). God often uses all kinds of environments to burn us, sometimes through our family, sometimes through brothers and sisters. When we are being burned, never think that this is God’s chastisement or harsh treatment; on the contrary, this is the proof of God’s acceptance of us.” The Lord comforted me with these words. Later, I filed a claim with my cancer insurance. The amount of the claim was enough for Brother Chiang and me to deposit a sum in a French bank, which met the financial requirements for our visa application. When I saw the amount, I knew, “Lord, You want us to stay in France to continue serving.” I joked with Brother Chiang, “Supporting your full-time service is truly not easy; I literally have to take a stab in the ribs for it.”
2023年6月28日，当天晚上11点的飞机要回（巴黎），早上去医院看肺的检查报告，医生说你这个情况不太好需要立刻手术，最好不要拖过三个月，当下江弟兄就决定我们三个月后再回来开刀，先回（巴黎）把九月的华语特会服事完和圣徒们交通清楚后，再回来手术。那三个月我心里忐忑不安，但弟兄说他很平安。这是我的命而他却觉得很平安，我总觉得怪怪的，于是我到主面前有很多的祷告。有一天我读到尼希米记六章一节，尼西米带领以色列人建造耶路撒冷城墙，没有破裂之处，我跟主祷告说，主啊！如果这个细胞是不好的，请你也在它的四围建造城墙，让它没有破裂之处。9月16日华语特会结束，隔天我们就立刻回到台湾直接到医院检查，医生说，你再做些检查十天后再手术，弟兄说，我只能陪她十天。医生说好，那就明天住院，后天开刀。开刀的结果是肺腺癌一期，术后只需要后续追踪，不需要做任何的化疗、放疗和电疗。弟兄陪我十天后，他就去了菲律宾参加长老同工训练，我在休养期间，问主为什么会有这些事临到？之后我读到利未记概论，说到祭物：“千万不要以为，基督徒的长进是越过越像样；相反的，基督徒越长进，越不像样。这话很容易引起误会，但事实就是如此。请想想看，无论甚么东西，如果摆在火里烧，能不能越烧越像样？不能！火会把它烧得不像样。烧到末了，变成一堆灰，一点都不像样了。所以，祭物最终是一堆灰；这证明它已成了神的食物，完全成为神的享受了。可见，神享受我们的方法，乃是用火烧我们，神自己就是烈火。许多时候，有火炼的试验，试验临到，这乃是神许可苦难，如同火一样烧我们，为要得着我们。（彼前四12～14。）神常藉着各种样的环境烧我们，有时是藉着家庭，有时是藉着弟兄姊妹。当我们被烧的时候，千万不要以为这是神的责打和苦待；反之，这乃是神悦纳我们的证明。”主藉着这些话安慰我，后来申请癌险的理赔，理赔的金额足以让我和江弟兄放一笔钱在法国的银行，这笔金额就应付了我们申请签证的财务要求。我看到这个金额时候我就知道，主啊，你要我们留在法国继续的服事。我开玩笑跟江弟兄说，要扶持你全时间服事，真是不容易，我需要两肋插刀。
In May 2024, the Olympic torch relay began from Marseille. We coordinated with training trainees from the US and the full-time serving saints in Paris, following the torch from station to station to preach the gospel.
2024年5月，从马赛开始的奥运火炬传递展开。我们与美国来的训练学员，以及在巴黎全时间服事的圣徒一同配搭，随着火炬一站一站前行，传扬福音。
As early as January 2024, we began the preparation work by shipping Bibles to various cities. We needed to travel to each city to receive a full pallet of Bibles from the delivery truck and move them into a storage unit. Then, when the brothers and sisters arrived, we would move the Bibles out of storage for distribution.
早在2024年一月，我们就开始预备工作，先将圣经运送到各个城市。我们需要前往每一个城市，接收货车送来的一整栈板圣经，搬入仓储；等弟兄姊妹抵达后，再从仓储将圣经搬出，进行发送。
The process was not easy. We had scheduled a three-day trip: first, take a train to Marseille, stay overnight, rent a car the next morning to receive a pallet of Bibles, then drive two hours to Montpellier to receive another delivery, then drive two and a half hours to Toulouse for the next one, and finally return to Paris. However, after renting the car in Marseille, the delivery driver didn’t show up at the appointed time. After a coordinating brother contacted him, the driver said it was because we hadn’t reminded him the day before. We waited until 3:15 PM to finally receive the delivery and complete the first stop. By the time the truck for the second stop arrived, we couldn’t make it. Thankfully, the driver was willing to unload the pallet next to the storage unit for us to move it in upon our arrival. After completing the second stop, we rushed to Toulouse, eating only baguettes on the way. We arrived in rainy Toulouse around 10 PM, parked the car, and quickly found our lodging to rest. The next morning, when we went to get the car, we found it had been towed. The spot where we parked was for a morning market and had to be cleared by 6 AM. We were tired, hungry, and it was raining the night before, and the signs were unclear. We took a taxi to the impound lot, but then the rental company hadn’t left the necessary documents in the car. We needed them to email the documents, but the agent in charge was on vacation, so we had to wait. The brothers left me at the impound lot to watch the luggage and wait for the email while they rushed to the storage unit to receive the Bibles, but the truck had already left by the time they got there. After a whole morning of struggle, we finally got the car back. With some time before our 1:30 PM appointment, the three of us went to eat some hot beef pho. Then we went to wait for the delivery truck again, from around 1 PM to 3 PM. Suddenly, the coordinating brother jumped up and said, “Oh no! I forgot to call the driver again; he told me to call to confirm!” Thank the Lord, we managed to contact the driver and finally got the Bibles into storage by 5:20 PM. We had only forty minutes left before our train back. We needed to refuel and return the car, a thirty-minute process. With ten minutes to spare, the three of us ran to the train station, sprinted into the carriage, and the moment we sat down, the train started moving! We were panting, hungry, and exhausted. We boarded the train around 6 PM and didn’t get back to our home in Paris until 1 AM, because the train was delayed for over two hours along the way.
过程中并不容易：当我们排定好三天的行程，先坐火车到马赛，过一夜，隔天一早租车，接到一栈板圣经后，开二个小时的车前往蒙彼利耶，接到圣经后，再开二个半小时到到吐鲁斯，收到后再从吐鲁斯回到巴黎。结果在马赛租了车之后，司机没有在约定的时间出现，配搭弟兄连络后，司机说因为你昨天没有提醒我，我们又继续等到下午3:15才收到，完成了第一站。第二站货车司机到达时，我们就赶不上了，还好他愿意缷下放在仓储旁，待我们到达再放入仓储内。完成第二站，就赶紧开往吐鲁斯，途中赶路只能啃法国面包，到达吐鲁斯下雨已经晚上十点左右，停好了车，赶紧找到民宿休息。隔天早上去开车时，发现车子被拖吊，原来停的位置有早市，六点就需要移走，昨晚又饿又累又下雨，标示又不清楚。叫了计程车到了领车处，又因租车公司没有把文件放在车上，需要租车公司把文件email过来，承办的租车公司人员又休假，需要等待。弟兄们把我留在领车处，看着行李，等待文件email过来，他们赶紧去仓储接圣经，抵达时货车已经离开。折腾了一个上午终于领到车，距离下午13:30还有一段时间，我们三人去吃了热腾腾的牛肉河粉。之后就再去等货运，从下午一点左右等到三点左右，配搭的弟兄突然跳起来，说糟糕！我忘了再打电话给货运司机，货运司机要我再打电话确认！感谢主！连络到司机终于在五点二十完成了进仓。距离我们回程的火车只剩四十分钟，我们需要加油还车，完成这些事路程需三十分钟。剩下十分钟，我们三人跑到火车站，再跑进火车厢，坐下来火车就开动了！我们又喘又饿又累，六点左右上了车到了半夜一点才回巴黎的家。因为途中火车又因故停了二个多小时。
Although distributing Bibles, preaching the gospel, and contacting people is exceedingly glorious, the whole process is certainly not easy. During that period, Brother Chiang often had to drive for long hours, sometimes over seven hours at a time, whether it was picking up trainees, transporting Bibles, or handling accommodation needs. The cost of getting a driver’s license in Paris is as high as 5,000 euros (about 180,000 NTD), and very few saints in the church in Paris can drive a nine-seater vehicle.
虽然发送圣经、传扬福音并接触人是极其荣耀的，但整个过程确实不容易。在那段期间，江弟兄常常需要长时间开车，往往一开就是七个多小时，不论是接送学员、运送圣经，或是应付住宿接待的需要。在巴黎考驾照费用高达约5000欧元（约新台币18万元），在巴黎召会能驾驶九人座车辆的圣徒更是寥寥无几。
In July, the fifty-day gospel campaign officially began, running simultaneously in Paris and five other cities. In Paris, there were three teams of about ten people each. The place where I live was originally a car repair shop with limited usable space, but to accommodate the Olympics, we cleared out four rooms for hospitality. During those fifty days, I had to prepare breakfast for about 15 people, lunch for 20, and dinner for as many as 30 every day.
到了七月，为期五十天的福音行动正式展开，在巴黎及另外五个城市同时进行。在巴黎共有三个队伍，每队约十人。我所居住的地方原本是一间修车厂，可使用空间有限；但为了配合奥运，我们整理出四个房间用于接待。那五十天里，每天早上要预备约15人早餐，20人中餐，晚餐则多达30人。
Such a busy and strenuous life was completely replaced by the joy brought by the preaching of the gospel. The saints ate together and contacted people together every day, full of joy and one accord.
如此繁忙且辛苦的生活，完全被福音传扬所带来的喜乐取代。众圣徒天天一同用餐，一同接触人，满了喜乐与同心合意。
After the Olympic gospel action ended, our busyness did not stop. It was followed by the continuous work of shepherding, which is still ongoing.
奥运福音行动结束后，我们的忙碌并未停止，随之而来的是持续的牧养工作，一直到现在仍在进行中。
Over the last year, the place where I live has hosted about 200 saints. They coordinated for two weeks, a month, or three months. Sister Tsai-Chu, who is here today, came to coordinate for three months last year, which was a great help to us. She will return with me at the end of March to continue to labor. The need there cannot be fully expressed in words. But you might ask, “How can I coordinate if I don’t speak French?” One brother said that the Chinese-speaking saints are the stabilizing factor for the churches in Europe. We really need saints to come and visit to strengthen these Chinese-speaking saints. Taiwanese citizens have visa-free entry to France, and if you have a driver’s license, you can drive there with an international driving permit. I hope that brothers and sisters will respond to the Lord’s calling and come to coordinate, to partake in the Lord’s present glorious move in Europe. (Sister Chiang)
去年一整年我住的地方，大约接待了200位的圣徒，他们或者配搭两星期，或者一个月或者三个月，在场的彩朱姊妹去年就来配搭了三个月，对我们的帮助很大，三月底她还要和我一同回去，继续劳苦。那里的需要无法用言语表达完全，但是你们会问我又不会讲法文要怎么配搭呢？有位弟兄说华语圣徒是欧洲众召会的稳定力量，我们很需要圣徒来探望坚固这些华语圣徒。到法国台湾免签，如果你有驾照是可以用国际驾照在那里开车。盼望弟兄姊妹回应主的呼召，前来配搭，有分于主当前在欧洲荣耀的行动。（江姊妹）
