Life in Islamabad (2024)
2 Cor. 5:15 “ And He died for all that those who live may no longer live to themselves but to Him who died for them and has been raised.”
Dear Saints,
The Lord has always been merciful and gracious to all of us here in Islamabad because of your prayers and support. We want to share with you all the highlights of the wonderful things He has done and is doing:
- The visiting saints from Tajikistan, along with some local saints who helped them with translation, did a month-long propagation in one community in Islamabad . A few days before their departure, in early February, everyone whom they contacted and preached the gospel to (around 29 gospel friends), were invited to an evening of fellowship in which all were encouraged to share their testimonies and enjoyment of Christ.
- On February 5th the first perfecting training in Wah Cantt (near Taxila) took place. It was conducted by the the brothers from the 2nd Dist. who were burdened to do propagation in that city. There were 35 local saints that attended the training. Several saints from Islamabad also joined to encourage the saints there.
- Three (3) local brothers – one from Lahore, one who was originally from Rawalpindi but is now working in Qatar and one from Karachi – attended the International Chinese-Speaking Conference in Taiwan. They enjoyed the messages and the blending with the brothers and sisters there.
- More baptisms
- In February ( At Wah Cantt, one
brother and one sister were baptized.)
- In April ( In the 5th Dist., four saints
were baptized.)
- Several of the ones contacted for gospel preaching in the 5th Dist. received the Lord Jesus as their Savior for the first time, and all of them prayed the sinner’s prayer. Praise the Lord!!!
- Islamabad saints have started going out for gospel preaching more than once a week. Instead of going only on Thursday evenings, we also do propagation on Mondays after the sisters’ meeting, on Saturdays after the youth meeting, and on Wednesdays after the group meeting.
- On April 10-13, we had the National Sisters’ Training that was held in Islamabad this time, in the 2nd Dist. meeting hall. Forty-four (44) sisters came from the 5 localities and even from Faisalabad, and 15 more sisters joined online.We thank the Lord for giving such a wonderful opportunity for the local sisters to blend and enjoy the Lord together!
- On April 14, we had the first whole church of Islamabad blending and outing after the pandemic. We had the corporate Lord’s Table Meeting together, and each district presented an exhibition. All the members present from all the districts had to go on stage and join in the exhibition. We also had some guests. There were around 250 saints that came.
Then we all had lunch together at a park,
and some saints participated in sports
afterwards. Praise the Lord for answering all
our prayers regarding this event!!!
- On May 1, eight (8) saints from Taiwan (actually, one couple was from New Zealand) arrived in Lahore. A couple of days later they arrived in Islamabad. They came to join us in our National Blending Conference. They also visited saints in different places, except in the 5th Dist. area that belongs to the Pakistan Army. The local saints were delighted to see them, and for their visits and blending. Praise the Lord!!!
- The National Blending Conference was held on May 4 & 5. The messages were taken from last April’s ITERO Conference. There were around 305 saints that came, excluding those who came on the first day but did not come on the 2nd day . We also had around 80 children.
Starting this year we will resume having 2
national conferences each year. For the past 5
years we were having only one. Thus, our
second one will be in November. Hallelujah!!!
- Youth meetings are held on Satudays. Dist. 1 and 3 youth have just been recently combined, and the Dist. 2 youth have their separate meeting. Please pray for the youth, especially the brothers, that they would want to join in the meetings.

- The Lord’s provision for a meeting hall that will also serve as a training/conference center
- Migration of local families to other cities for propagation
- These upcoming events in Murree ( a hill city):
- Responsible Brothers’ Training from

- University and College Students’

亲爱的圣徒们，
主一直以来都慈悲怜悯我们伊斯兰堡的所有人，这一切都是因为你们的祷告和支持。我们想与你们分享主所行所做、以及正在做的奇妙之事：
来自塔吉克斯坦的访问圣徒，与一些协助翻译的当地圣徒一起，在伊斯兰堡的一个社区进行了为期一个月的传福音活动。在他们于二月初离开的前几天，他们所接触和传福音的所有人（约29位福音朋友），都受邀参加了当晚的团契活动。每个人都被鼓励分享自己的见证和对基督的喜乐。
2月5日，在瓦赫坎特（靠近塔克西拉）举办了首次完善训练。这次训练是由第二区的弟兄们主持的，他们渴望在那座城市进行传福音。有35位当地圣徒参加了这次训练。来自伊斯兰堡的一些圣徒也加入了，以鼓励那里的圣徒。
三位当地弟兄 – 一位来自拉合尔，一位原籍拉瓦尔品第，现正在卡塔尔工作，还有一位来自卡拉奇 – 参加了在台湾举行的国际华语会议。他们享受了信息，并与那里的弟兄姐妹融洽相处。
更多洗礼：
二月（在瓦赫坎特，一位弟兄和一位姐妹受洗。）
四月（在第五区，四位圣徒受洗。）
在第五区进行的传福音中，有几个人第一次接受了主耶稣为他们的救主，他们都做了罪人祷告。赞美主！
伊斯兰堡的圣徒们已经开始每周不止一次外出传福音。除了周四晚上，我们还在周一下午姐妹聚会后、周六下午青年聚会后、以及周三下午小组聚会后进行传福音。
4月10日至13日，我们举办了全国姐妹培训，这次是在伊斯兰堡第二区的聚会厅举办的。来自五个地区，甚至来自费萨拉巴德的44位姐妹参加了培训，还有15位姐妹在线参加。我们感谢主赐予了这个宝贵的时机，让当地姐妹们能够融合在一起，享受主的同在！
4月14日，我们举办了疫情之后伊斯兰堡全教会的首次融合和郊游活动。我们一起参加了主的圣餐聚会，每个区都进行了展示。所有来自各个区的成员都必须上台参与展示。我们还有一些客人。大约有250位圣徒参加了。
然后，我们一起在公园里共进午餐，一些圣徒之后还参加了体育活动。赞美主，他回应了我们对这次活动的祈求！
5月1日，八位来自台湾的圣徒（实际上，有一对夫妇来自新西兰）抵达拉合尔。几天后，他们抵达伊斯兰堡。他们来参加我们的全国融合大会。他们还访问了不同地方的圣徒，除了属于巴基斯坦陆军的第五区。当地圣徒很高兴见到他们，也很高兴他们的访问和融合。赞美主！
全国融合大会于5月4日和5日举行。信息取自去年4月的ITERO大会。大约有305位圣徒参加，不包括第一天参加但第二天没有参加的人。我们还有大约80个孩子。
从今年开始，我们将恢复每年举办两次全国大会。过去五年，我们只举办了一次。因此，我们的第二次将在11月举行。哈利路亚！
青年聚会于周六举行。第一区和第三区的青年最近合并在一起，第二区的青年则有自己的聚会。请为青年，特别是弟兄们祷告，愿他们渴望参加聚会。
