Reaching Maturity, Preparing for the Lord’s Coming—The 2023 Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Full-time Training Graduation Meeting
The 2023 Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Full-time Training graduation took place on the morning of June 2 in the capital city. Twenty-three trainees graduated, including 18 brothers and 5 sisters. Twenty of them are from Ethiopia, and the other 3 are from Nigeria.
The theme of this graduation was “Preparing Ourselves to Meet the Lord’s Coming by Building Up the Church as the Organic Body of Christ.” The trainees’ testimonies were in three stages. In the first stage, the trainees testified of seeing the vision of the building and practicing the Body life to be free from pride and isolating themselves. In the second stage, they testified that by growing in life and reaching maturity, they prepared the bride to be ready for the Lord’s coming. In the third stage, they testified of seeing the ultimate vision—the New Jerusalem. They then consecrated themselves for life to continue experiencing the transforming work of the Spirit to be transformed and become the building materials for building up the church as the organic Body of Christ, consummating in the New Jerusalem.
About 150 saints attended in person, and approximately 200 saints joined online livestreaming from various places around the world. After the meeting, the saints all said that they were greatly inspired, and many trainees’ family members affirmed the training and came to know this ministry. The graduating trainees also renewed their consecration during the meeting, and most of them are willing to follow the Lord’s leading to serve full-time. Some of the trainees consecrated themselves to continue practicing to be living and functioning members of the Body of Christ, either as full-time workers or as students.
In our service in the training center, we practiced naming and praying for the trainees, seeking breakthroughs in the Lord, and providing life through one-on-one shepherding according to their individual needs. We thank the Lord for enlarging our capacity little by little to experience Him more subjectively.
During the break, we visited the two cities in which the trainees are from within two weeks to visit the trainees’ families, hoping that the home visits would help their families affirm the training. In our practical shepherding, we visited the trainees’ families and had in-depth fellowship with them, caring for them and shepherding them on the one hand and ministering the truth of the Lord’s recovery and presenting the value of the training on the other hand. The family members all appreciated the Lord’s transforming work on their children through the training. We also approached anew the value of the training service, seeing that it has a share in the Lord’s move in Ethiopia, even in the whole continent of Africa. 本次毕业聚会的主题为『借着建造召会作为基督生机的身体，而为着主的来临将自己豫备好』。毕业学员的见证分为三个阶段：第一阶段，学员们见证因看见建造的异象，而操练过身体生活，脱离骄傲与单独。第二阶段，见证借着在生命上长大并竭力达到成熟，以豫备新妇，为着主的来临将自己豫备好。第三阶段，见证因看见终极的异象－新耶路撒冷，而奉献一生，继续经历那灵变化的工作，而被变化成为建造的材料，以建造召会作为基督生机的身体，终极完成于新耶路撒冷。
在现场有一百五十位圣徒，海内外各地参加在线直播约两百位圣徒。圣徒们于会后皆表示深受激励，更有许多学员的家人因此肯定训练，进而认识这份职事。毕业学员们也在聚集中更新奉献，大多数愿意跟随主的带领而全时间服事。另有学员则奉献自己，未来无论在职或在学，都要继续操练作活而尽功用之基督身体上的肢体。
我们在训练中心的服事过程中，操练为学员们题名代祷，向主寻求突破，且按各人的需要，在一对一的牧养中供应生命。感谢主一点一点扩大我们的度量，使我们对祂的经历更主观。
休训期间，我们在两周内走访两个城市，拜访学员们的家人，盼望藉家庭访问帮助家人们认定训练。藉实际的探访，我们至学员们的家中与其家人有深入的交通，一面顾惜与牧养，一面也供应主恢复的真理并陈明训练的宝贵。家人们都珍赏主藉训练在其儿女身上的变化工作。我们亦重新认识训练服事的宝贵，是有分主在埃塞俄比亚，甚至是在全非洲的行动。赞美主正在得着这些宝贵的青年人，甚至遍及他们的全家，求主加强在各地的见证，为着祂的回来豫备新妇。
