Dear Saints,
The following are the highlights of the church life in Islamabad from August to November:
1) In August, the saints in the 2 target communities (prospective districts) started having regular bi-weekly trainings on Saturdays and weekly group meetings on Wednesdays. Training topics included: What is church?, God’s Economy, Consecration, Prophesying, etc. (Please see the attached pictures of the trainings.)
2) The church in Islamabad added a new district (Dist. 4) on October 2 when the first Lord’s Table Meeting was held. There were 51 saints in attendance, 19 were from that community. Praise the Lord!!! (Please see the attached pictures.)
3) Eighteen (18) sisters from Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Karachi and Lahore gathered together on Oct. 9 at the training center in Lahore to start the 2-weeks Sisters’ Training. It ended on Oct. 22. (Please see the attached picture.)
4) The Lord added one more new district (Dist. 5) at the end of October. (Thanks to all the saints’ prayers!) Seventy-two (72) saints attended the first Lord’s Table Meeting there, out of which 42 were from that community. Praise the Lord!!!
5) There were several baptisms that took place in different districts during this period: In Dist. 1, six young people were baptized; in Dist. 5, two sisters; in Dist 2, a brother and a sister.
6) Bro Ken Mooney of US who is now serving in Munich, Germany came and visited the churches in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. He was also the guest speaking brother at the National Blending Conference held in Islamabad on November 12-13, 2022. (Please see the attached picture of Bro Ken with some saints in Karachi.)
Thanks to all the brothers and sisters who prayed for the National Blending Conference! The Lord answered all your prayers! All the praise and glory to the Lord!!!
There were 252 saints and around 60 children that came from all the churches in Pakistan including saints from Faisalabad, a soon-to-be established lampstand. The subject of the conference was Grace of God in the Economy of God, taken from the February 2022 International Chinese- Speaking Conference. (Please see the attached pictures.)
7) Four (4) serving sisters from Kaohsiung, Taiwan arrived in Islamabad on the night of Nov. 12th so they were able to attend the 2nd day of the blending conference. A day after the conference, 2 of the sisters left for Lahore and the other 2 stayed behind in Islamabad. All the 4 sisters are going to serve here in Pakistan for 3 months with a special burden of helping out in how to minister to the young children and youth. (Please see the attached picture of the 4 sisters with some saints.)
8) Also right after the blending conference, there was a 2-week training in Lahore for 15 responsible brothers from the 4 different churches.
Prayer Burden
Saints, please pray for the following:
1. For the establishment of Faisalabad as a lampstand.
2. For the strengthening and growth of the church in Rawalpindi.
3. For the upcoming 3-months perfecting training of young saints in Lahore.
4. For the winter training and its venue because the meeting hall in Dist. 2 will not be able to accommodate all the saints because we have increased in number. Praise the Lord!!!
5. For the training of the serving ones of young children and youth that will be conducted by the sisters from Taiwan.
