Children and Young People
Our Southern Africa Young People’s Camp (ages 13-18) and Grade 6 & 7 Camp (ages 11-13) were held concurrently on the weekend of 6-9 January 2022. Our goal with the Grade 6 & 7 Camp was to present the full gospel to this age group in a clear and prevailing way. Our topic was “Where are you?” and we enjoyed the Lord’s convicting and compassionate answer to this penetrating question. We had a large group of young ones from all over Southern Africa in this age bracket and 24 out of 26 registered children came for the entire weekend. Most of the children who attended have grown up in the church life, but there were also a number of children who have been regularly attending the Neighbourhood Children’s Meetings who also joined the camp. There was an excellent coordination among the serving ones (who were mostly parents and even older siblings of the children).
