Democratic Republic of the Congo, Lord’s Move to Africa

The Democratic Republic of the Congo  is the second largest country in Africa after Algeria, with an area of 2.345 million square kilometers . It has a population of close to 90 million people, the fourth most populous country in Africa (after Nigeria, Ethiopia and Egypt) and is the most populous French-speaking country in the world.
In The Democratic Republic of the Congo ,there are 12  localities, the number of the saints in church life is 690, and 590 could attend the Lord’s Table meeting.

The country is unstable and, after two civil wars, it has seen several militias since 2016. In addition, diseases and serious epidemics ravage the country. Following the outbreak of COVID-19, there were restrictions to prohibit meetings of more than 20 people. However, such restrictions have been relaxed. The church life is going on well in the province of North Kivu (Oicha, Goma and Kashenda). We have the Lord’s Table meeting every Lord’s Day in all the localities as it was before pandemic. In Goma and Oicha we gather daily, enjoying the Holy Word for Morning Revival and Life Studies. We have received some ministry books from overseas but unfortunately they were in English. Please pray for more provision of ministry books in French.
