Since 17th July several areas of Henan province have been hit by the heaviest rainstorm since weather records began, including Zhengzhou, Jiaozuo, Xinxiang, Luoyang, Nanyang, Pingdingshan, Jiyuan, Anyang, Hebi, and Xuchang. Within just one day, these areas were flooded with water and turned into lakes. As the record rainfall ravaged these cities, shocking scenes were seen everywhere.
The impact caused by this extremely heavy rainstorm exceeded everyone’s expectations. Some commuters were trapped in the subway for 3 hours. Some people had to be immersed in the rain for their houses were flooded. Some could do nothing but merely watch people beside them being washed away…
Messages for help filled WeChat moments, and topics concerning this rainstorm were all over Weibo. Every message for help was forwarded and followed.
The sudden rainstorm is affecting the hearts of the saints everywhere, who are concerned about the situation in the disaster area. We have learned from the local saints that all the brothers and sisters are safe. However, the saints in some areas need to evacuate because of their flooded houses; some saints suffered property damage; some saints’ lives were affected by the lack of water, electricity, and communication. At present, the rain in Zhengzhou has stopped, and the flood is receding. But Xinxiang and other places are still in the process of rescue, which needs our urgent intercession.
Facing this sudden natural disaster, we have seen how limited and weak we humans are. May these natural disasters remind the world of their weakness that they may soften their hearts to the Lord and repent unto salvation.

7月17日以来，河南多地遭遇有气象记录以来最大的暴雨，郑州、焦作、新乡、洛阳、南阳、平顶山、济源、安阳、鹤壁、许昌、等地受到侵袭。短短一天之内，河南多地被大水漫灌，变成了一片泽国。暴雨倾城，所见之处触目惊心。
这场暴雨为城市带来的打击，超出了所有人的想象。有乘客被困在地铁3个小时；有人的家园被淹没，只能泡在雨水中；有人眼睁睁看着身边的人被冲走，却无能为力……
朋友圈里，到处都是求救、互助的信息。整个微博热搜，也全是关于这场暴雨的话题，每一条求救的信息，都在被大家转发和关注。
这场突如其来的暴雨，也牵动着各地圣徒的心，大家都关切着灾区的情形。我们从当地的弟兄姊妹得知，弟兄姊妹们都平安，但有部分地区的圣徒，因房屋被淹需要转移住处，有一些圣徒的财物受到损失，另有一些圣徒家中仍处在停水、停电、通讯中断的情况下，在生活上受到一些影响。目前，郑州的雨暂停了，积水也在排泄中，但新乡等地仍在抢险的过程中，需要我们迫切的代祷。
面对这场突如其来的天灾，我们看到人的能力是那么有限且渺小，愿这些自然灾害提醒世人，使人认识自己的渺小，心向主柔软，悔改以致得救。
盼望我们继续为在暴雨中受灾的人求平安，也为我们的弟兄姊妹有更多的祈求，愿主继续保守弟兄姊妹。
