To Solve the Common and Hard Problems in the New Testament

In 1974 Brother Witness Lee began writing the footnotes for the Holy Bible Recovery Version for use in his semiannual Life-study trainings. He wrote these footnotes to expound the books of the Bible for a few definite purposes. Those of us who have benefited from Brother Lee’s Life-study of the Bible may realize some of these purposes, but perhaps not all of them are clear to all of us. In this issue of our newsletter, we would like to continue our presentation of his comments about each purpose for the Recovery Version with the footnotes, again giving some concrete examples to help our readers see and enjoy each for themselves. The third purpose is to solve the common and hard problems in the New Testament. Read more…

Helping the Believers Enter into the Full Extent of the Ministry

The Collected Works of Witness Lee, a one hundred thirty-nine-volume set, was completed this year with the publication of the Index. Of the over seventy-seven thousand pages, nearly half are available only in The Collected Works of Witness Lee. In order to grow and mature in life, we must be constituted with the truth and the life supply that are found in the New Testament ministry, yet it may be difficult for many to know where to begin. With this in mind, Living Stream Ministry began to compile and publish a periodical entitled Ministry Digest in order to help the believers, particularly those who do not own a complete set, enter into the full extent of Brother Lee’s ministry. Read more…
