INTRODUCTION In this Supplement, we will cover the efforts of the saints in Ethiopia in raising up the next generation for the church life, as well as the literature service in Ethiopia and Kenya.
Campus Work in Ethiopia
Praise the Lord for preparing so many young seeking ones on the campuses in Ethiopia – In June 2019 a training for college students was held for over 2000 students from all over the country. Since then we are in contact with over 3000 college and high school students and recent graduates through different social media groups. A good number of them are enjoying the ministry and some of them have been coming together at least two times a week to pray and enjoy the ministry.
We have been very restricted in conducting visits to those students outside Addis Ababa due to the pandemic and the political instability. However, the Lord opened the way for us to conduct student trainings with smaller numbers. Praise the Lord we had two wonderful trainings on “Knowing Life and the Church” – 150 students and recent graduates participated in the one held in May, and 200 joined the June training. The same training will be held for another group of 150 in early July. In August there will be a training for 500 students and young working saints from 25 towns and universities. We pray that a good number of co-workers will be able to come physically to train these young students. We will also arrange online sessions for the coworkers who are not able to come. We believe that these trainings will prepare these young ones to join the Full-time Training.
In Addis Ababa we have a regular meeting for college students, where we share from the ministry, sing, enjoy lunch, blend among the students and also with the serving ones. During the pandemic, this meeting has served as a supply for students who study in universities outside of Addis Ababa but have returned to their home in Addis Ababa. We can testify that Lord is using these students as channels of supply in their universities. We thank the Lord that two students under such shepherding are in the Full-time Training now. A good number of them are also graduating and we pray that the Lord may lead them to join the Full-time Training.

Children and Young People in Ethiopia
Through the help of visiting saints, we began to pay attention to the children and young people’s work in 2007. We used to have young people’s meetings on Lord’s days. Due to the lack of facilities for the young ones to meet and a lack of training for the serving ones, we stopped this work in 2013. Since 2018 some sisters picked up the burden and started to serve children and young people in the saints’ homes, but this was interrupted due to the pandemic. Right after the Covid-19 restrictions were lifted, we immediately resumed the meeting for young people from age 12-18 years. They are encouraged to sing, get into the ministry and also read the Scriptures. They are also helped to read and memorize verses. After the corporate time, they have their own time to play and have snacks together. Because of the use of video-conferencing platforms during the pandemic, the young ones had the privilege to blend with the young people in Europe, Taiwan and Malaysia virtually. In 2020 they enjoyed the European Young People’s Conference. In 2021 there were blending meetings with young people in Taiwan and Malaysia. Around 45 young people in Addis Ababa benefited from blending and sharing their enjoyment with other young people from different localities in different countries. During this time we have also gathered sisters in one district in Addis Ababa and helped them to come together to pray and fellowship concerning all the services including children and young people’s service. We have a burden to do this in all four districts in Addis Ababa. The sisters also are burdened to start children’s services for all ages. Recently the co-workers have picked up the burden to help strengthen the children and young people’s work in Africa. We thank the Lord that the brothers plan to give trainings to parents and serving ones. A Conference on Raising up the Next Generation was held on 19-20 June for burdened parents and serving ones from all over Africa. Please pray that the Lord may strengthen the parents and serving ones in Africa to give themselves for the proper raising up of the next generation in Africa.

Literature Service in Ethiopia and Kenya
Amana Ethiopia Printing and Publishing PLC Amana Ethiopia Printing and Publishing PLC is currently operating in Ethiopia for the propagation of the ministry. At present we are working to get copyright permission from the Living Stream Ministry for the translation and printing of the ministry books. We are also producing video messages to introduce the ministry in Ethiopia and east Africa. Three different Facebook pages have been created for this purpose. Different messages from books, such as The Normal Christian Life, Twelve Baskets Full and the Life Study of John are shared on these pages in order to help our viewers know the truth and experience the truth in their daily life. 45 short videos in English and 39 videos in two of the local languages of Ethiopia have been posted. Within this short period of time, we have gained 6,300 followers and received over 200 contacts from different parts of Ethiopia. The openness and hunger of those who have contacted us for further fellowship impelled us to start a 30-day program on the topic of “God’s Full Salvation”. Currently we have translated these messages into the Amharic language, and we are preparing for the recording of these messages. We plan to use them as shepherding material for our contacts.
High Peak Truths Publishers Kenya Limited
As a way to propagate the gospel in Kenya, brothers in Kenya registered a company under the name “High Peak Truths Publishers Kenya Limited”. The main responsibility of this company is to spearhead the work of receiving and distributing the ministry material in the country. We realize that we have a commission to reach sinners and so our plan is to distribute 3000 gospel tracts per month. In addition, we have begun work to translate our hymns into Swahili. Currently we have translated 95 hymns into Swahili under different topics. Our target is to complete the translation of 200 hymns by the end of 2021. The hymns which we have translated are currently still in the editing stage. These translated hymns will be used in our church meetings, especially in the countryside where the saints meet and love fellowshipping and singing in Swahili.
