Matthew 24.37-39
37 For just as the days of Noah were, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.
38 For as they were in those days before the flood, eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day in which Noah entered into the ark,
39 And they did not know that judgment was coming until the flood came and took all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
Luke 17.28-30
28 Likewise, even as it happened in the days of Lot: they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building;
29 But on the day in which Lot went out from Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.
30 It will be in the same way on the day in which the Son of Man is revealed. Ephesians 5.14 Awake, sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.
