NACT DAY 2 REPORT
The second day of the 2019 North America College Training was a day of enjoyment! To accommodate over 2800 students and serving ones, the trainees have been arranged into five major cohorts and various small groups on a rotating schedule. It’s been incredible to experience the reality of all of the prayer and coordination behind this training. The week is truly off to a smooth start, full of singing, blending, and being built up with one another.
During morning revival, we focused on the need for private prayer. Building up a habit of spending personal, hidden time with the Lord is so crucial, especially for the young people. After the corporate time, the trainees spent thirty minutes alone with the Lord for the first of their daily personal morning revival times.
The first-morning session covered the matter of having our eyes opened. As blind men, we must receive the Lord’s anointing with the word of life mingled with our humanity. We don’t want to be opaque, we want to behold Him now! We must ask the Lord to enable us to see the vision of His eternal purpose. The morning session was followed by one of five special fellowships covering vital burdens including mental health and marriage.
The small group fellowships began this afternoon after recreation and rest. Each group consists of 6-8 students and 2-3 serving ones from multiple localities and will be meeting for an hour and 45 minutes every afternoon. The first group time was mainly spent getting to know one another through introductions and icebreakers, as well as through open fellowship and prayer. The groups also watched a short video as part of a series on how to practically proclaim the jubilee. Today’s video was on initial contact, specifically on giving proper handshakes, which the trainees then practiced on one another. What a sweet, intimate time of mutual flowing and learning!
In the second message of the evening sessions, The Age of Jubilee, the speaking brother emphasized that the New Testament jubilee is an age of ecstasy for our salvation. Jubilee means having no worry or anxiety; when we receive the Lord Jesus as our real jubilee, we are delivered from the bondage of sin and have real freedom, rest, and full satisfaction. May we all love and enjoy the Lord to the extent of ecstasy!
Please continue to pray that each student would experience the reality of the jubilee, and be fully open and supplied by the afternoon small group times. Lord, continue to pour Your blessings upon the 2019 North America College Training!
