Report on the Distribution of the Polish Recovery Version, 22-23 March 2018

Thank you for the prayers regarding the distribution of the Polish New Testament Recovery Version. This week we went out again on the Open Days at three different universities in Krakow. We went out with 11 local saints and 4 who visited from other localities; 5 were English speakers. Thank the Lord that the weather was sunny and dry during this time. Over the 2 days we gave out 624 Polish and 10 English Bibles. Because we were able to have our tables right outside the entrance to the universities, the recipients were mostly either university students or seniors in high school.

Thursday we distributed at the University of Technology (15,000 student population). In 5 hours we distributed 136 Polish and 5 English Bibles, 26 people subscribed to receive emails, and 2 personal contacts were established.

Friday we split into two teams to go to 2 different universities. For both universities we had 13 email subscriptions. Because we split into 2 teams, we fewer people were distributing at each site, so we had less time to fill out the online forms for subscriptions or to establish personal contacts. We were at the University of Economics (20,000 student population) for 2.5 hours. There we distributed 117 Polish and 3 English Bibles and established 3 personal contacts. We also went to Jagiellonian University (44,000 student population). This university is the oldest in Poland and the most prestigious university in Krakow. We had a table right outside the entrance. Crowds of students were passing by, so we later added the team from the University of Economics for a second table near the entrance. In 5 hours we distributed 371 Polish and 2 English Bibles and made 2 personal contacts. One person prayed to receive the Lord.

The next Open Day that we will use for Bible distribution is 13 April. On that day we will distribute at AGH University of Science and Technology (35,500 student population). Please continue to pray for the Bible recipients and the follow-up shepherding, that the Lord will add His chosen ones to the testimony of Jesus in Krakow.

Much grace,

The serving ones in Krakow

Polish New Testament Recovery Version Free Distribution 23-27 April (Warsaw, Krakow), 2-3 May (Warsaw) and International Blending Conference in Warsaw, Poland

28 April—1 May 2018

Bibles for Europe, together with Fundacja Strumien Zycia (Stream of Life Foundation) and the churches in Poland, warmly extend an invitation to all the saints to participate in the distribution of the Polish New Testament Recovery Version. The distribution will take place on 23-27 April in Warsaw and Krakow and on 2-3 May in Warsaw. These distribution dates are before and after the International Blending Conference in Warsaw on 28 April through 1 May.

For the past five years the saints in Poland have been laboring on the translation of the Recovery Version into Polish. It was successfully completed in September 2017, and 30,000 copies for free distribution were printed in February of this year. We would like to put them in people’s hands to share with them the riches of the accurately translated and interpreted Word of God.

All the saints are encouraged to attend both the distribution and the conference, if possible, for more blending.

We hope that many saints will express a desire to join us in these two events. For more information, please send an email to konferencje@strumien.com.pl.
