Dear brothers and sisters in the Lord:

We would like to announce that this year’s International Memorial Day Conference will be held in Kansas City, MO from Friday, May 25 through Monday, May 28, 2018. We would like to extend an invitation to all the churches and individuals to participate in this gathering.

The meeting schedule is as follows:

All the meetings will be held at the Westin Kansas City at Crown Center, in the Century Ballroom, and will be open to the public. There will be translation into Chinese, Korean, Spanish, and Portuguese. Please see the attached information regarding the details of the conference.

International Memorial Day Conference

1. General: All conference meetings will be held at the Westin Kansas City at Crown Center, in the Century Ballroom, located at 1 East Pershing Road, Kansas City, MO 64108.
2. Translation: There will be translation into Chinese, Korean, Spanish, and Portuguese. Those who need translation should bring their own FM radio, headset, and extra batteries.
3. Lodging:

Westin Kansas City at Crown Center: Special group rate of $99.00 USD/per night plus tax (16.975%) for single and double occupancy, $109.00 USD/night plus tax for triple occupancy, and $119.00 USD/night plus tax for quadruple occupancy. A limited number of hotel rooms at the Living Stream Ministry group rate are set aside at the Westin Kansas City at Crown Center. Saints are encouraged to make their hotel reservations as early as possible in order to get the discounted rate. Reservations must be made on or before 5:00pm (CST) Tuesday, May 1, 2018 in order to get the reduced rate. Check-in is 3:00 PM or earlier if rooms are available and check-out is 2:00 PM on Monday, May 28, 2018.

Please note: Saints should reserve only the number of rooms that they intend to use, as cancelled rooms are no longer available to others at the discounted group rate.

4. Transportation: Please refer to the enclosed Transportation Information sheet for directions from the Kansas City International Airport to the Westin Kansas City at Crown Center, as well as for other ground transportation options.
5. Parking: A discounted self-parking rate of $10.00 USD per day, with in and out privileges, is available at the Westin Kansas City at Crown Center to all conference attendees. Parking passes can be purchased at the LSM Help Desk during the conference.
6. Childcare:

 Care for children from kindergarten through 6th grade will be provided during the conference meetings at the Westin Kansas City at Crown Center. Please register all children attending the conference by filling out the attached Childcare Registration Form and returning it to Living Stream Ministry no later than May 1, 2018.  A Parents’ Room will be available with a live broadcast of the meetings at the Westin Kansas City at Crown Center. Those with pre-K children may choose to care for them in the guest rooms. In-house viewing of the meetings will be provided on guest room monitors.

 Children must be signed in at their assigned rooms 15 minutes prior to each meeting.

 High school and junior high students are expected to attend all conference meetings.

Transportation Information

Kansas City International Airport (MCI): Hotel Direction: 21 Miles SE

Driving Directions: From the airport, head southwest on Cookingham Drive toward International Circle. Continue Straight onto International Circle. Use the middle two lanes to turn slightly left to stay on International Circle. Keep right to continue on Cookingham Drive. Continue onto NW 120th St. Use the right two lanes to merge onto I-29 S/US-71 S via the ramp to Kansas City. Continue on I-29 S and use the right two lanes to take exit 2B to merge onto US-169 S toward Kansas City/Downtown. Take the U.S. 169 exit toward I-35. Turn right onto US-169-S/W 5th St. Use the left lane to take the I-35 S ramp to Wichita. Continue on I-35 S and take exit 1D for 20th Street. Turn left onto W 20th Street. Turn right onto Main Street. Turn left onto East Pershing Road. The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center is located on the right at 1 East Pershing Road, Kansas City, MO 64108.

Taxi:

Taxi service is available from the Kansas City International Airport to the Westin Kansas City at Crown Center. Taxi rates are $2.50 USD plus $2.10 USD per mile. Courtesy phones for taxi service are located both inside and outside the airport terminal at each baggage claim area and at other strategic locations outside the terminal exits.

Shuttle:

Super Shuttle: Transportation via the Super Shuttle is available from the Kansas City International Airport to the Westin Kansas City at Crown Center. The Super Shuttle

kiosk is located in the airport in the baggage claim area. There is a one-way cost of $18.00 USD for each guest, and a prepaid round trip cost of $31.00 USD. Both cash and credit cards are accepted. The shuttle runs in fifteen-minute intervals and no reservations are necessary when traveling from the airport to the hotel. Transportation via the Super Shuttle is also available from the hotel to the airport. You must make reservations for the shuttle 24 hours prior to the time that you wish to leave the hotel. To make shuttle reservations for a return trip to the airport from the hotel please see a representative at the Concierge Desk in the hotel lobby (Monday thru Friday 9 am-5 pm) or call Super Shuttle at 1-800-258-3826 (24-Hours a day).
