2018 FTTA Trainees’ Gospel Trips to Denton, Texas 二〇一八年安那翰全训学员赴德州登顿福音之旅

Denton, Texas
January 15
The gospel trip in Denton has begun and has begun in a strong way.

We began the week with the Spring semester Welcome Back Dinner for the returning students and used this time to pray for the upcoming semester as well as read ministry concerning our relationship with the Lord for our growth in life and for the growth of the body.

The burden for all the students this term is to enter into function. No two members have the same function, so there is a desire that each one would enter into their own function to care for the new ones and the returning students. There is also a desire that all of the students, serving ones and community saints would be able to form vital groups that would usher in the care for all the new ones as well as the mutual care for one another.

The activities for the week include:

Tabling from January 16, to January 19. In these times we will be handing out flyers, preaching the gospel and blending with our current students.

Tuesday January, 16 is the first Welcome Dinner for all the students and Thursday January 18, will be the last one for the week.

Wednesday we have an event called Cake and Convo where the students will be able to get to get to know one another as well.

Please pray that the Lord would send His seeking ones. Lord Jesus bring Your sons of peace.

January 16

Praise the Lord dear saints, This morning and afternoon we had the opportunity to table at two locations on the University of North Texas campus. From this time:

1. 1 person prayed to received the Lord

2. 34 people are open to having more contact with us through Bible study appointments

3. We passed out a total of 1,594 tracts which included an event calendar.

Today we had the first Welcome Back Dinner for the returning students and the students we met at the tabling events. This time was a success, many students were able to get connected with those already in the Christian Students at UNT club. During this time we were able to give an overview of what we believe and what we do as a club. After this time we passed out a ministry portion and proceeded to split up into small groups for a bible study. We read a portion of John 3, regarding Nicodemus and his religious background and the need for regeneration. The word was opened to the students and many profited from the time.

S, a student we met at the Welcome Dinner, stated that it was the Lords arrangement that he met us tonight. He stayed after the Welcome Dinner for the small group bible study and thoroughly enjoyed the fellowship on John 3. He enjoyed that Christ is in us and that essentially, we are God. We are actually part of God. A little part of the whole. He made sure that we were not offended in his saying this, but we proceeded by saying that we are not offended, he spoke the truth.

He is a seeking one who has seen something. May we continue to pray for S and ones like him, that they may touch the truth and come to the full knowledge of the truth.

Prayer Burdens:

1. That the Lord would touch the ones that received a tract to reach out to us throughout the remainder of the week.

2. Wednesday afternoon we will have what we call Truth Group. This is a student led bible study. May the Lord release the function of many of the students.

3. Wednesday night we will have the Mean Green Fling, which is the campus wide welcome back bash in the student union. This event is a great opportunity for many students to receive information regarding Christian Students at UNT.

4. Right after the Mean Green Fling we will have Cake and Convo. May the Lord release many students to come to this event.
