2017 FTTA Trainees’ Gospel Trips to South Africa (Cape Town, Durban, Pretoria) and Prayer Burdens 二〇一七年安那翰全训学员南非开普敦 & 德班 & 比勒陀利亚福音之旅及代祷负担

25) South Africa (Cape Town, Durban & Pretoria) – 2017 FTTA Gospel Trips Report and Prayer Burdens

Cape Town: We are still preaching the gospel in English, on the Afrikaans speaking University of Stellenbosch. We had our first follow-up appointment with the young man we previously met while walking with him while he registered. Today one trainee continued to have walking appointments with him while he applied for bursaries (grants) and housing. During lunch hour, a sister that works in the dorm cafeteria brings us into the dining hall. She told the residents she has American friends she wants them to meet. We have been eating there ever since.

Durban: While at the local shopping mall, we distributed The Basic Elements of the Christian Life. One recipient came back and expressed how much he had enjoyed reading the material. We just need to be faithful to distribute the ministry, the ministry will attract the seekers into the church life.
While on UKZN we spent some time with a freshman brother, not sure how the subject came up but he’s interested in short terming now.

Pretoria: Today we had our first Bible study, the students who participated in the previous student workshops each presented for one to two minutes from The Basic Elements of Christian Life. Tomorrow is the first day of orientation at TUKs. Due to the current sensitive situation, we will be proceeding with caution, in small groups to the campus, while many saints remain at the meeting hall to pray.

Prayer Burdens
• The University of Pretoria would reopen its main campus entrances so the laboring saints and trainees could enter freely and spend time with students.
• The Lord would use the ministry to attract seekers in Durban for the church life.
• The Stellenbosch contacts would be open to follow-up appointments, and attending the Bible study.
