(16) Lyon, France – 2017 FTTA Gospel Trips Report and Prayer Burdens
These past few days we have been laboring on the campus of La Doua here in Lyon. Most of our time has been singing, for about an hour of so on campus, while inviting persons to the upcoming gospel meeting on Thursday night as well as the Bible study Thursday afternoon. We have seen many reactions here on campus, but our prayer is that each invitation would just be another gospel seed sown here in Lyon. So far we have had 4 Bible recipients and 3 follow up contacts. There has been one sister contact that has even asked to meet with us this coming Fridayfor another appointment.
As for the evenings, we’ve mostly been blending with the saints at home. Last night we traveled over to St-Etienne, which is about a thirty minute drive out from Lyon, to visit a family living there currently. It was a wonderful time of singing and fellowship. They were able to open a little about their personal situations and we were able to pray corporately together for our going on together in the Lord. Tonight, we were able to stop by a café with a couple of students after our time singing on campus and later were able to have some dinner with them as well. It has been a real cherishing to have the students with us as we continue to fellowship with them and just be with them.
Prayer Burdens
• That the Lord would release many to come to the Thursday Bible study as well as the Thursday night gospel meeting.
• For the follow up contact of those who received a Bible. That there would be much open fellowship
