Report on the 2016 Mid-Atlantic Labour Day Blending Conference in Beltsville, Maryland.
We had a glorious Labor Day Conference. Through the saints’ prophesying, we believe that the conference’s burden was discharged. All were touched by the fact that we are all priests, we need practice, and God desires saved sinners as the true offering until each one is presented full-grown in Christ. Testimonies on Saturday morning of the saints who participated in the German gospel trips also further confirmed the speaking.
In addition to the saints from the Mid-Atlantic churches, some from New Jersey and North Carolina also came. Average attendance for messages 1-3 was 424. Message 4 included a joint Lord’s table meeting and the total attendance was 646.
At the end of the conference, we announced (1) the celebration meeting of the church in Fairfax on 9/25, (2) the Mid-Atlantic working saints and families retreat on 11/19-20, (3) the Mid-Atlantic fall young people’s conference on 10/21-23, and (4) the 2017 spring Mid-Atlantic blending conference in Virginia Beach on 3/24-26.
The saints are happy and encouraged, and the future of the Lord’s recovery is bright in Mid-Atlantic states. Glory to Him!
In Christ,
Brothers from Mid-Atlantic churches
