Inland Churches Blending Meeting Report

More than 350 saints from 9 churches in the Inland area gathered together in Colony High School, Ontario CA. for their biannual blending meeting. The first part of the meeting was the Lord’s table where saints sang hymns to remember the Lord and worship the Father in English, Chinese & Spanish. After the table meeting, some brothers gave a brief re-speaking of the messages from the Memorial Day Conference. The general subject for the Memorial Day Conference was the Increase of Christ for the Building up of the Church.
The main content from the re-speaking was as follows: the book of Acts is without ending and is being continued for the increase of Christ. Today, we all can be part of the continuation of the book of Acts. In chapter 6 & 12 of the book of Acts, it is mentioned that the word of God grew and multiplied. Growth refers to the growth in life and multiplied to the increase of Christ in numbers. But in order to gain the increase in numbers and bear remaining fruit, we need to abide in the Lord and be in union with the Triune God. Our union with the Triune God will cause us to carry out God’s move to fulfill His New Testament Economy through three main substances – Prayer, the Spirit and the Word. Taking this way to gain the increase will cause us to pick up a burden to care for people, to bear them on our shoulders and embrace them in love on our breasts. This issue of this will be the building up the corporate temple, the mystical Body of Christ, which is carried out by the Lord Jesus in His resurrection.
The blending meeting concluded with encouraging testimonies from some saints who are practicing as a locality to corporately go out weekly contact people so that Christ may increase and the Church may be built up. May the Lord gain the increase He is after to build up His Church and consummate this age.
