Message Three:
The Practice of the Priesthood of the Gospel for the Increase in the Lord’s Recovery
More than 4,000 saints gathered on Lord’s day in Anaheim, California to hear the Lord’s up-to-date speaking concerning the need of increase among the churches in Southern California. The brothers reiterated the burden of the gospel from the 2016 International Chinese Speaking Conference. In this conference, not only did the saints see the contents of the gospel, but they were also impressed with the intrinsic burden; the Lord’s need is to build up the churches as the Body of Christ. But for this to happen, we need to preach the gospel. All the saints need to function as New Testament Priests of the gospel.
The gospel we are preaching is not the partial gospel, but the full gospel that encompasses everything form Matthew to Revelation – the gospel of God’s eternal Economy to dispense Himself in Christ as the Spirit into His chosen ones through His judicial redemption and by His organic salvation for the building up of His body in the local churches to consummate the New Jerusalem as His bride, His wife, for His eternal expression. (message 2)
“We must be burdened to gain more members for the increase of the Body of Christ and for the accomplishment of God’s economy. In Haggai 1:8 Jehovah charges His people by saying, ‘Go up to the mountain and bring wood and build the house.’ The material is for the building of God’s temple, His house. This is a picture of the need to gain God’s chosen ones as material for the building of his living house, His church, the Body of Christ” (Fellowship concerning the Urgent Need of the Vital Groups, p. 156).
