2016 Spring Florida Brothers Meeting was held in the meeting hall of the church in Orlando on March 12, 2016. 44 brothers from 12 localities were in the meeting. The fellowship was focused on the burden for the gospel, the training on eldership, and the building up of the Body of Christ through the increase and spread of the churches.
The brothers were encouraged to consider how to carry out the practical matters as follows:
1) Increase the number of saints meeting in the churches in the Southeast by 40% within the next five years, 2016-2020. (As of 2016, there are 1729 saints attending the church meeting regularly.)
2) Establish 10 new churches in the Southeast within the next five years. (As of 2016, there are 25 churches in the Southeast.)
3) Increase the number of full-time serving ones on the campus teams in the Southeast by 10. (As of 2016, there are 22 saints serving full-time on campus teams.)
4) Pray earnestly and thoroughly for all the brothers who will be participating in the “Training on Eldership,” a one year training consisting of two terms and covering 36 lessons in total for the whole year. (Via Mike Lee)
