Update of the Gospel Trip to South Africa (January 27, 2016) 南非福音旅行近况简报(二〇一六年一月27日)

It has been wonderful to hear their testimonies and see how the Lord has worked to bring them into His recovery. Most of our time here will be spent visiting saints, meeting with new contacts, and preaching the gospel at a local university.
The Durban sub-team is staying at the home of a couple who migrated here last year. Durban is the third-largest city in South Africa but there are very few saints and no local church. We have joined the effort to sow seeds of the ministry by tabling at a local mall and knocking on doors and will participate in a neighborhood children’s meeting, visit a local university, and continue to spend time with the saints and contacts.
So far in orientation week on the University of Pretoria campus, we have had one table outside of an open room where we have singing, snacks, and fellowship. Another table that we set up yesterday is near the Christians on Campus office and an entrance of the campus. We have been meeting a lot of people who are attracted by our singing and our “Bible Study” sign.
Prayer burdens:
• That the saints would enter into the one accord for the Lord’s testimony to be established in Nelspruit and Durban.
• For this Thursday’s introduction to this semester’s Bible study on the University of Pretoria. The students will share not so much on the content but more on their experience of being a student and being able to attend the Bible study and participate.
