Brief Report from Jaffna, Sri lanka.
1. Praise the Lord for His move in Jaffna campus, from last year till now there were 13 students got baptism(1 brother passed away in February because of accident), 3 seeking ones were gained, and now 6 students are under our shepherding.
This week we invited 5 students to come to our house for love feast, they were very happy and open to us, after meal we read the Bible, sing hymns with them. We contacted one sister from Africa recently, she is the first year student in Jaffna university, she said that she is searching the church life, when she came to our meeting, she was very touched by the fellowship, and she attended Lord’s table meeting 2 times.
2. This week we continuely enjoy the MR with new believers, we have the enjoyment with 6 young ones, by this way may the Lord give us a new revival every day.
3. One month ago the saints in Jaffna began to practice to preach gospel by door knocking after Lord’s table meeting nearby our meeting hall, we go by two or three, praise the Lord many people are open to us, last week there are one brother and one sister got baptism, and they also attend the Lord’s table meeting.
Prayer burden:
1.Pray for the shepherding of 14 students so that they can see the vision of this age to be the overcomers.
2. Pray for the practice of God’s ordained way in the community, right now we are doing first step,gaining people by door knocking.
