There was a propagation in Mannar From 22nd, March to 12th, April. Four saints from India and other local saints
from Colombo, Kandy, Jaffna and Gampaha participated in this propagation. Our daily schedule from Monday to
Friday was:
We pursued the gospel of John, listened audio concerning the God-ordained way and had fellowship about
yesterday’s contacting and meeting with the new ones in the morning. After corporate prayer at 4:00 pm we
usually went out at 4:30 pm for door-knocking or contacting people on the streets. Home meetings were held in
saints’ houses at 7:00 pm. For Saturdays we had seekers meeting and love feast from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
During 3 weeks, our main burden for the first week was to door-knock and contact people generally, for the second
week was to emphasize baptism to those who were willing to get, and for the third week was to have home
meetings and shepherd the new ones.
During those three weeks, we have contacted around 165 people among whom 98 called on the name of the Lord
and 10 were baptized and there were nearly 10 families in which we had home meetings.
Our target for this propagation was to raise up 5 solid families. After one-week’s propagation, in our prayer and
fellowship we strongly had the faith that the golden lampstand should be established in Mannar on 12th, April. The
Holy Spirit was moving in this city, touching the seeking ones by opened truth and attracting those who were in
darkness with light shining in His rhema words. Through our coordination with Him, the Church in Mannar was
established on 12th, April. Praise the Lord for His victory in this city which is Roman Catholic area (65%)! There
were 23 saints and gospel friends from Mannar and 17 saints from other localities joining the Lord’s table meeting.
We remembered him by eating the bread and drinking the wine on the ground of oneness. All of us enjoyed the
meeting and the sharing. We sensed that the Lord was satisfied. May the Lord continue blessing His move in this
city to call the chosen ones out of religions for His purpose and His building.
4 saints from India really paid the price and committed themselves to this propagation in preaching the gospel and
shepherding the new ones. Saints from other 4 localities also joined the move of the Body and strengthened us in a
corporate way.
Testimonies:
1. One sister was eager to be baptized after hearing the importance of baptism one day, but her husband was so
strong that he didn’t allow her to do so. On the next day morning she came without telling her husband and got
baptism. She was weeping for joy. In her sharing we know that there was a battle between God’s chosen one and
Satan. We were told that before coming to our house, she almost fell into the well. We praise the Lord for His
victory!
2. We shared many times to one brother about baptism. He was waiting for the support from his wife and mother-
in-law. His mother-in-law was a strong Roman Catholic and said that she would die if he is baptized. We prayed
with him and encouraged him to be baptized first. One day at noon he came and was baptized. All the barriers were
broken.
Prayer burdens:
1. Pray for the shepherding of the newly baptized ones and new families.
2. Pray for the enjoyment of Morning Revival and the word of God.
3. Pray for the perfecting of the serving ones in Mannar.
