The Lord’s move in France has been blessed very much by the publication of the Holy Word for Morning Revival in French and the participation in Bibles for Europe distributions.
The first edition of the Holy Word for Morning Revival in French was received by the saints in February 2009. What a blessing this has been to the saints in France! This has given the saints a way to closely follow the ministry, and many of the saints in France are growing in life by daily enjoying the Holy Word for Morning Revival and being able to prophesy their enjoyment to one another in the small group meetings and when the whole church comes together.
In September of 2012, in fellowship with the saints in London, the brothers in Paris believed that it would be good to begin the Bible distribution of the French Recovery Version of the New Testament. We received our first distribution training in September 2012. Since this time a number of local brothers have picked up this burden and are now perfecting many saints locally and in other localities on how best to distribute the French Recovery Version of the Bible. Of the 100 plus saints that meet with the church in Paris, about half of them are directly participating in carrying out the Bible distributions and some of the new ones are being added to the church. Other localities within France and other French-speaking countries are now entering into the same labor to carry out Bible distributions and seminars; as a result, many of the French-speaking churches are being blended together.
Brother Lee, in Elders’ Training, Book 8: The Life-pulse of the Lord’s Present Move, said, “Regardless of whether the saints are from Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, England, Thailand, Indonesia, or the United States, we all bear the same burden, take the same way, and spread the same truths. We dispense the truths embodied in the ‘gold bar,’ the Recovery Version. We have no other merchandise! If we would be like this, the entire earth will be taken!” (p. 114)
There are about 50 saints in Lyon and the nearby cities, and around 35 meet regularly on the Lord’s day. In the past, the church in Lyon consisted almost exclusively of university students; but since 2008 the Lord has gradually added five families. Today, Lyon has three saints attending the full-time training: two in London and one in Mexico. We look forward to establishing a small campus team in the near future. We endeavor to go out to participate in the Bible distribution every four to six weeks; and many community saints and young ones are encouraged and perfected in the distribution and the follow-up. The church life is very pleasant due to the blessing of the one-accord, home atmosphere (all church meetings are held in the homes), much blending, and many love feasts.
We praise the Lord for the fellowship in the Body that we now have the truth in the French language and have a way to dispense the truth through the distribution of the French Recovery Version to the French and French-speaking people.
