Subject: Setting Up The Infrastructure of Weekly Gospel Visitation and Home Meetings in the Church life.
In the Bible, the most difficult prophecy that has yet to be fulfilled is Matthew 16:18. The Lord gave the greatest prophecy when He said, ‘ I will build my church”. Although this is the most difficult prophecy, since it is a prophecy it must be fulfilled. On Lord’s day December 21, 2014 about 200 hundred saints from 4 churches in the inland area met in Colony High School, Ontario CA to see how the practice of the God-ordained way and the building of the church are related. Using the ministry and personal experiences in the church life, brother Lin Hong from Taipei shared on “a proper understanding of the God-ordained way”.
During this time the saints were impressed with the fact that the God-ordained way can’t be optional, rather it must be mandatory for every saint to take. The GOW is not the way for increase of numbers in the church, but the way for the preparation of the Bride, by every member functioning. We have to take this way to bring in the new revival. First, this way comprises of the constitution of the truth
by PSRP. Second, the new way is the way of corporate God-man living with the base of being revived every morning and overcoming daily. Finally, this way is also the way of shepherding according to God,
which issues in the propagation of the church, not a natural work merely issuing in increase of numbers.
In Ephesians 4:11-13 we see how the infrastructure of the gospel can be set up. The evangelists should perfect the saints to visit people with the gospel on a weekly basis so that the infrastructure of the gospel in the church can be established. Shepherds and teachers should perfect the saints to shepherd and to teach new believers on a weekly basis, in order that the infrastructure of the home and group meetings can be established. The home meetings are important because they are the life pulse of the GOW. Prophets should prefect saints to prophesy for the building up on a weekly basis in order that the infrastructure of the district can be established. And finally, the apostles should perfect the saints to plant church trees for propagation to the whole earth and practice blending to build up the Body.
In taking this way, all the serving ones in the church should be obligated to corporate and coordinate with the energizing God with no reservation. We need to corporate and coordinate with the energizing God because we ourselves are not active. In addition, all the leading ones in the church should always inspire, encourage and lead the saints to practice the God-ordained way consistently and persistently, as the principles service in the church.
The church as the Body of Christ can only be built up in a full scale through our faithfulness. The
saints were encouraged to go out consistently and persistently, on Saturday morning from 10am to 12pm
for weekly gospel visitation. Surely, if this way is taken there will be a way for each saint to gain one remaining fruit in 2015.
May all the saints be perfected, at the end of this age, to do the work of the New Testament
ministry to build up the Body of Christ until we all arrive at the oneness of the faith and of the full
knowledge of the Son of God, at a full grown man and at the measure of the stature of the fullness of
Christ.
