The third Xin-sheng small district of the church in Kaohsiung was established on August 30, 2011. The number of the saints increases from 15 to 70. In the beginning
this small district had only one community small group. There are two community
small groups, one young-working saint small group, and one parents-children small group now. Up to October, 22 new ones were baptized this year. What are the reasons
and secrets of this grace from God? What are the factors that can get so many people
to the Lord? What kind of attraction can let most of the new believers stay and become
remaining Fruits?
Act16:31 “And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you shall be saved, you and your household.” This verse is God’s promise. And God has fulfilled His promise
to the saints of the third Xin-sheng small district. Many testimonies of the salvation of
the whole house proved the faithfulness of the word constantly in the third Xin-sheng small district. By means of the witness of the saints, some characteristics of the
third Xin-sheng small district are compiled as follow.
A. The faithful and responsible serving family
1. To accompany the saints for morning revival and to nourish the saints personally.
2. To pay attention to the saints’ situation, if someone does not come to the meeting,
the responsible brother will care about them by telephone or visit them personally.
B. To list their name for intercession in the prayer meeting.
1. To list the name of the saints, gospel friends, families one by one for intercession.
2. To update the saints’ situation in their fellowship weekly.
C. To drink coffee together every Sunday afternoon.
1. There is a small group of serving saints coordinating together to invite gospel
friends to drink coffee for shepherding every Sunday afternoon.
2. Up to now, almost all the gospel friends that drank coffee on Sunday afternoon
were all baptized.
D. The family is the subject of the gospel, and the object of the gospel.
1. Families and close relatives and good friends of the saints are the object of the
gospel.
2. If there were any requirement, the serving ones will visit and help immediately.
(for example, wedding, funeral…etc.)
E. Every new believer has a spiritual mother.
1. To arrange a specific spiritual mother for every new baptized.
2. The spiritual mothers accompany the new believers in morning revival and grow
with them together.
F. To hold a welcome-party and a full-month party for the new saints.
1. When a new believer is baptized, there will be a welcome party in the small group
on that weekend.
2. When a new believer has been baptized for more than one month, there will be a
full-month party in the district on that weekend.
G. Lead the Saints to attend the perfecting meetings of the church.
1. The responsible brothers of the district join the perfecting meetings of the church
as the good pattern.
2. To push, to encourage, to invite, all the saints to join the perfecting meeting with
them.
In summary, the secret of grace in the third Xin-sheng small district is that the
responsible brothers hold onto the word of the promise of God. According to the
leading of the church, they serve faithfully and diligently to feed the sheep and
become patterns of the flock.
