Part of the work and burden of the New Zealand Training Centre for this year, 2014, is to establish meetings with children and their parents in the homes of people in the community. Our hope is to reinforce within children positive traits such as honesty, kindness and obedience based on characters in the Bible so they can grow to be responsible citizens of our society and country and that each one would become an asset and a blessing to all whom they would contact.
With this in view our students are currently visiting communities in Hamilton.
We have designed a program based on the Bible where we engage with children in the safe and comfortable setting of their own homes and with their parents present.
Each lesson takes between 30 and 40 minutes and is designed to stimulate and encourage the children through singing and interactive story telling.
