Stillwater/Edmond, Oklahoma
(1/25) Saturday night, we went to an Oklahoma Metro area young people (YP) meeting in
Edmond, OK. This weekly meeting includes the YP from Norman, OKC, Edmond, and
Stillwater. There were about 40 saints in that house, majority of which were YP. We had
such sweet fellowship with the YP about the excellency of the knowledge of Christ, and He
becomes more excellent the more we enjoy and experience Him.
(1/26) Lord’s Day Morning – We had the Lord’s Table and Prophesying meeting in Ken and
Robin Baker’s Home in Stillwater, OK. There were 19 saints total.
This week we will be on campus tabling at Oklahoma State University (OSU) and Tuesday
& Thursday night we will have Open House for the Christians on Campus club. Friday night
we will have a welcome dinner.
The OSU campus is ripe for two reasons, 1) there are many foreign students who are kind of
empty and open to the gospel because of the country they’re coming from and 2) because
OSU is a land-grant university for agriculture/engineering, so it’s the university that has the
small town students from the country side who are believers and very kind and open.
Prayer burdens:
• Pray for the time spent on campus this week talking to and meeting new students
and that much fruit will be gained off of this campus.
• Pray that many students will be open to receiving the BFA materials.
• Pray for the open houses (Tuesday and Thursday) and welcome dinner (Fri).
