we had some serious fellowship about gaining more native French people for the strengthening of His testimony in Paris. I got some help in compiling total 16 French baptisms from Jan 2012 until now with their photos on file so they could be identified in our prayers. By “French baptisms” we mean those with French mother tongues. Most of them, except one from Bordeaux, were baptized in Paris. Some saints from Paris went to Dijon with our dear brother Nicholas to help baptize three of them in Dijon. We need to check how could we improve on our shepherding efforts to bring more of them into the church life. Some of them were very difficult to contact now, while a few of them were quite open to come to our meetings during the first couple of months of their baptisms.
Recent update of testimony in Paris – Baptisms in French speaking
There were about 40-50 non-French baptisms in 2012. It will take more time to establish a complete record. Of course we also gained this solid French young couple, Christophe and Julie since last Sept. Since they are genuinely regenerated Christians we warmly receive them as our dear brother and sister in Christ. There is no need to mention baptism to them.
